3 Doors Down, formerly known as Rocksalt Tapas recently had a makeover with the venue now transformed into a ‘speakeasy inspired’ lounge bar.

From the moment you open the the dark wooden doors, you’ll enter a dimly lit space with chilled tunes and quirky decor where you’ll know you’re in for a good time. 3 Doors Down is best for a date night, catch up with your bestie or a small get together as you’ll find yourself cosying up on a lounge, bar table or even a wine barrel.

Share plates, my favourite type of eating, are in absolute abundance here and coupled with a few cocktails, makes it the perfect night out. I loved the mixed marinated olives (bonus points for being pitted), the poached duck bao and the buttermilk fried chicken. Now, I can’t say I’ve tried every cocktail on the menu (because there are over 40!!!) however, I can tell you that from the loads of cocktails I’ve tried all over The Shire, the Squealing Piggy was an absolute game changer. Made with Squealing Pig Rose Gin, Chambord, Lemon and Whites, it’s equal parts sweet, refreshing and thirst quenching.

Bookings are recommended so plan in advance if you can, otherwise walk-ins are welcome but you may be seated outside.
