Spice Den, set in the Oaks Casuarina Santai Resort was easily one of our favourite spots to dine on the Tweed Coast. From the moment you step foot inside you feel relaxed with the calming, poolside ambience.
My personal favourite dishes were the Soft Duck Pancakes and Wagyu Beef Pad See Yeuw. Both the duck and the beef were super tender and melted in your your mouth, amongst delicious flavours.
Don’t let ‘Spice’ in the restaurant name fool you, there are definitely options with little to no spice at all. However, if you can’t handle the heat, do not order the Red Curry! I couldn’t even look at it without my eyes watering ;)
